Be The Right Retail Store Team Leader

A Good Team leader, leads by example.  He or She trains and teaches their employees to do as they do.  They always do the right thing.  They don't just send people out to the sales floor with out some guidance.   He makes as much information available to his staff and trains them how to use it.   He guides his associates to make the correct choices.  

Training never stops.  A good manager will train, and constantly follow up to make sure processes are understood and followed. Never assume that employees are doing the job correctly. Check up on them.  Use check lists that lay out standards and evaluate your employees on a regular basis.

The biggest variable expense a business will have is payroll.   Don't waist your time not training them correctly to be the happiest, most productive selling force a retail store can have.
